Senior Auditor Opportunity

Sedore Hudson Valley CPAs currently has an opening for a full-time position for a senior auditor with three to five years of experience to join our team. The applicant shall have his/her CPA license and have recent experience in public accounting. Experience in not-for-profit and municipal auditing is preferred. Some of the key responsibilities of a senior auditor include:
- Performing most engagement assignments with little supervision
- Preparing complex engagement workpapers for high risk client areas
- Providing oversight to staff accountants
- Possessing technical knowledge to be a resource to both clients and staff
- Communicate complex issues to Manager or Partner

Audit Manager Opportunity

Sedore Hudson Valley CPAs currently has an opening for a full-time position for an audit manager with five to ten years of experience to join our team. The applicant shall have his/her CPA license and have recent experience as an audit manager at a public accounting firm. Experience in not-for-profit and municipal auditing is preferred. Some of the key responsibilities of an audit manager include:
- Possessing technical knowledge to be an expert resource to clients, staff and partners
- Coordination and communication of work assignments with clients, staff and partners
- Planning audit engagements to maximize efficiency
- Review of workpapers and attest reports
- Provide leadership and guidance to senior and staff accountants
- Perform complex audit assignments including working on the most complex and high risk audit areas for larger clients
